Latino/a Alumni Weekend

La Causa, the College's Latino/a cultural group, invited alumni, students, faculty and staff with interests in the Latino/a community for conversation, presentations, networking and fun to participate in Latino/a Alumni Weekend 2014. The weekend took place Friday, May 2 - Saturday, May 3, 2014.

Events included a networking lunch, career panels, a moderated discussion on on-campus Latino/a identity, presentations by students on their theses examining pertinent topics, and a keynote address  by Nisé Guzmán Nekheba '85.

The Multicultural Resource Center

The Multicultural Resource Center is the hub for all groups at Amherst College that promote understanding of different cultural aspects present in our community.  It acts as a communication and activities hub, located in the Campus Center.
