LGBTQ Weekend 2007
The seventh Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ) Alumni Weekend will take place April 13 - 15, 2007.
The weekend is to remember, honor and celebrate the experiences of LGBTQ students and alumni at Amherst College. The weekend will also provide alumni and students the opportunity to discuss the history of LGBTQ presence in Amherst life, to acknowledge the experiences of current students and to work together toward fostering connections between students and alumni.
The 2005 schedule of events is available for your reference.
One of the challenges in organizing an event like this is keeping an up-to-date list of LGBTQ alumni. Since the College may not know of everyone who would be interested in returning to Amherst for this weekend, we encourage you to share and pass along this information to alumni friends whom you know. If they would like to be included in future mailings and events, please ask them to contact Marcy Larmon in the Office of Alumni and Parent Programs; she will be happy to add them to the mailing list.
Again, we hope that you can return to Amherst for the LGBTQ Alumni Weekend. It will be both a fun and meaningful weekend for all. We hope to see you in April!
