Please join us for a magic show with world-class magical entertainer Shreeyash Palshikar '95 at Rock Creek Park group picnic area 13. Dr. Palshikar is an Indian fusion magician, who offers audiences a peek into the mysterious world of Indian magic in his family-friendly, fun, and enlightening shows.  Pizza, fruit, cupcakes, and lemonade will be provided.

After the show, folks have several options to continue their fun in the park. Amherst volunteers will lead a group to the next door Nature Center and Planetarium, which has various kid-friendly activities, an adjacent half mile nature walk, and at 1 p.m. a kid-friendly presentation on the seasonal night sky (details).  Looking for a more vigorous option? The picnic area is on the Western Ridge hiking trail, which goes from the Zoo to Silver Spring.

Shreeyash Palshikar '95 is a world-class magical entertainer who has amazed audiences in Europe, Asia and all across the US at exclusive parties, colleges and corporate events, where he mystifies CEOs, college presidents, city mayors and royalty. Palshikar keeps the dying art of magic, or jadoo, alive by studying the secrets of Indian magicians, then adapting them to suit the tastes and performance situations he finds in the West.
