The Amherst Association of Philadelphia invites you to Norris Square Neighborhood Project for an intimate tour of its six organic sustainable gardens in the heart of Philadelphia's Latino community. After the tour, the group will help build an earthship-style greenhouse and have lunch in one of the gardens.

No specific skills are needed. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will provide you with leadership, tools and instruction. Children are welcome as well--this is a great chance to involve your kids in your volunteer work and to get the whole family outdoors for a few hours!

We look forward to learning about sustainable gardening and construction techniques while caring for one of Philly's hidden gems!
