Join the Amherst Association of Philadelphia as Lauren Groff '01 reads from her recently released and critically praised new novel Fates and Furies and discusses her work. Fates and Furies was a finalist for this year's National Book Award, and her earlier novels have been included in the Amherst Reads program, among other honors. Lauren is looking forward to connecting with Amherst alumni following the event.

This Free Library event will also feature Sloane Crosley reading from her debut novel, I Was Told There'd Be Cake. Her writing has been featured in the New York Times and Bon Appetit, among other publications.
