On-Campus Housing
On-campus housing is available for alumni and guests on Wednesday through Saturday nights, on a first come, first served basis. The cost for on-campus is housing is $45 per person, per night. Housing for children aged 4-12 is $20 per child, per night. Alumni who graduated in 1964 or earlier, plus one guest each, are offered complimentary on-campus accommodations. We recommend that you register early to request housing, as we have reached capacity in recent years. Due to the occupancy limits of the College residence halls, we may not be able to accommodate all requests for on-campus accommodations.
Please remember that there will be parties around campus on Friday and Saturday nights, and depending on your proximity, that may impact your sleep if you turn in before your classmates. The residence halls that are used for on-campus housing open at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and close at noon on Sunday. It is not possible to stay additional nights due to required maintenance on the buildings that begins right after Reunion.
Alumni and their guests will be placed in their class headquarters as much as possible (first come, first served). If the class headquarters is full, alumni will be placed in another residence hall, as close by as we can manage. The residence halls on the main quad are mostly doubles and alumni and their guests will be housed together in the same room. Most other residence halls on campus are singles, so alumni and their guests will be housed in adjacent rooms in these buildings. Children will be placed on twin-size cots in single rooms with a parent. (For example, in residence halls away from the main quad, a family of three with one child would have one single with a cot, and one single next door. On the main quad, they would have a double with a cot added.) If your class headquarters is on the main quad and you are attending without a guest, but would like to be housed with a friend in a double room, please include that information in your registration. If no such request is made, you will not be assigned a roommate.
Please let us know about any special housing requests you may have, especially any accessibility needs. Most residence halls are accessible, but some are more accessible than others.
You will receive a confirmation of your room reservation when you register; however, you will not receive your room assignment until you arrive on campus. Please check-in and pick up your room key at the Alumni House Reception Center.
Please remember: Residence hall rooms are functional (extra-long twin-size beds, sheets, towels, a pillow and a blanket are provided). There are no rooms with private baths. All residence halls and houses are non-smoking. You may want to bring flip-flops for the shower and a reading light, and you will need toiletries. The residence halls are not air-conditioned and we encourage you to bring a fan.
At the end of your stay, please return your room key and access fob to the Alumni House Reception Center, or place it in the key box in the lobby of your residence halls. Missing keys require the locks to be replaced; therefore, your cooperation is appreciated.
