Please check in at the Reception Center when you arrive on campus, whether you are here for a few days or just a few hours. There you can register and pick up keys for on-campus housing, enjoy refreshments, receive messages and find schedules of class activities.

If you arrive after Alumni House closes and are staying in on-campus housing, please call the Amherst College Police by dialing 2291, using the phone outside the front door of Alumni House. If you wish to use your cell phone, contact Amherst College Police on their business line, 413-542-2291. These instructions will also be posted on the Alumni House door. A staff member will accompany you to the room you have been assigned and unlock the door for the evening. You can then return to Alumni House in the morning to check-in and get your room key.
