Accessing the Internet While on Campus
If you have previously registered on the eduroam wireless network at another institution, you can connect and login to the College’s eduroam wireless network using your home institution email address and password. You don’t need to take any further action.
If you are not an eduroam user you must select the AmherstGuest WiFi network. Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Chrome). Then, when you launch your web browser, you’ll see the Amherst network portal page. Follow the Visitors link, where you’ll find two other links—one to create an Amherst networking account and one to log in with your previously created Amherst networking account. Click the link that applies to you and follow the directions.
Printing
If you need assistance with printing a boarding pass or confirmation email, please inquire with the staff at the Alumni House Reception Center, and we can print these on-site. We are not able to print large documents for visitors, but we would be happy to direct you to a nearby copy center.
