PARAMEDIC SKILLS MANUAL was invited by the publisher - the Brady Company.  Here again the focus was on all skills done by the paramedic.  The photography was done in California with Dr. Phillips watching the hand positioning - the same he used as an emergency physician.  This book went worldwide and was translated into Spanish.  Dr. Phillips has used this book as a calling card to ride out thereafter with paramedics in Guam, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, and Saudi Arabia.  [He credits his writing skills to his high school newspaper experience followed by Amherst College program in English with three essays a week.]
