I believe it’s not our right in the rich countries to live the way we do at the expense of the rest of the world because I see the world as a completely interconnected and interdependent entity. And so that gives us certain responsibilities. It seems, to me, it’s just wrong for us to live as we do at the expense of others or at the expense of other species. So we need a drastically different way of looking at the earth.
