Through the regional associations site, associations can list officers, events, and updates on their own web page. On the new “Amherst Connects” page all alumni have the ability to post Amherst-related event pictures, book signings, gallery openings, and even apartment rentals. There is also an association forum for alumni, especially association officers, to post event and speaker suggestions, news and other ideas.
Alumni and Parent Programs also maintains a web listing of all currently planned association events on the alumni events page.
The password protected “Alumni Directory” is useful for looking up addresses and occupational information of alumni in specific areas of the country and globe. In January 2007, all alumni were required to reset their password as part of a security upgrade. Alumni and Parent Programs mailed alumni their usernames and PINs to allow them to set a new password. Contact the alumni office at 413-542-2313 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you no longer have (or no longer can find) your username and PIN or if you are having trouble resetting your password.
The Amherst website is an excellent source of information, including:

- academic departments and faculty listings
- singing groups
- campus and alumni news updates
Weekly news about Amherst can be obtained automatically through an e-mail subscription to Amherst News Digest which is available at email@example.com. Association Presidents are also eligible for free subscriptions to the Amherst Student. Contact Alumni and Parent Programs if you wish to receive this campus publication.
Association Presidents may also request hard copies of the Course Catalog to aid in potential faculty speaker identification.
