Child Care Committee (Optional)

Some classes can expect a large number of children to be a part of their Reunion experience. For those classes – frequently the 10th, 15th and 20th – it is often helpful to have a committee to plan for child care and child-friendly events.

Due to construction on campus, we are no longer offering a day-time program for children, but the college offers a Children’s Reunion Evening Program for children ages 4-13. Learn more here.

The college cannot provide care for children younger than 4 years old, or private babysitters. While Alumni and Parent Programs may have a short list of possible sitters, this varies from year to year, so it is a good idea for classes to plan ahead. If a classmate lives in the Amherst area, they may have suggestions about local sitters. You can also use a source such as or  to find local sitters with references.
