Beth Cisneros ’89 was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018. She is the deputy general counsel of The Obama Foundation.
Previously she was a vice president and deputy general counsel at the American Red Cross, where she supported Humanitarian Services. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, she was a labor and employment associate at Epstein Becker and Green. She received her J.D. from Georgetown.
A cum laude graduate of Amherst, Cisneros majored in American Studies and was a co-captain of the women’s soccer, squash and lacrosse teams. An active alumna, she has served as an associate class agent and has provided career advice to students
Cisneros is a board member of Girls on the Run Montgomery County and former board co-chair of the Interfaith Families Project of Washington, D.C.
She is married to Michael Rosenman and they have three children.
