Terence A. Cordner died peacefully at home in Katonah, NY, on April 17, 2007.  He was ninety-three.  He was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, to John and Myra Anglin Cordner, and grew up in Kenilworth, NJ.

At Amherst, Terence was a member of Chi Phi and played center field on the baseball team for three years.  After graduating from Amherst he became a certified public accountant.  For many years he lived in the Troy, NY, area where he was controller and treasurer of Behr-Manning Corporation.  In 1962, he moved to Sleepy Hollow, NY, and became treasurer of Burnham Corporation.  He also worked for many years developing professional education courses for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  In 1978, he moved to Cape Cod where he worked as a CPA and as controller of the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, and where he enjoyed many years entertaining family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by his family which includes his brothers, John D. ’39 and William F. ’40; his sons, Terence A. Jr., Thomas, Richard, and Robert; his many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  His beloved wife, Mary Elizabeth Fowler, died in 1994.
