Kim McMullin, 92, of Vero Beach, Fla., died on April 16, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anne; three sons, Dr. Forbes McMullin ’65 and Kimball McMullin ’67, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Raymond McMullin of Oakland, Maine; a sister, Janet McMullin Hughenberger; five grandchildren, all Amherst grads, Forbes ’93, Birch ’96, Katherine ’97, Annie ’06, Alex ’08; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Donaldson and Robert McMullin, and a grandson, Nicholas McMullin.

After Amherst College, Kim married Anne McAlpin Forbes in 1941. From 1942-1945, he served in the U.S. Navy. Afterwards he worked with his father as a sales engineer with the Stephens Adamson Manufacturing Co. and later joined Stone and Webster in Boston.

Kim and Anne had an all-Amherst family, and they were constant attendees at many of the Class Reunions. Kim also served for many years as a Class officer and was instrumental in fund raising for the College.

For the last two years, I have lived across the hall from Kim and Anne and can state that in that period, Kim never lost his love of singing, his devotion to the College or his delightful sense of humor.
