50th Reunion

George Evans says he has had a lucky 50 years since graduating from Amherst. After two years as a navigator on a destroyer in Korean and other waters, he married Louise, went to Wharton Graduate School, and then started working for the CNA Insurance Group. Ten years later he began a career as a marketing and general management consultant to insurance companies and others interested in the insurance industry...starting at Boaz, Allen & Hamilton, then to Ernst & Young's Actuarial Division, followed by some entrepreneurial detours, and finally to Evans Associates which he established in Greenwich, Connecticut (where he and Louise have lived for 38 years).

George says he and Louise are blessed with a son and daughter, and five "really active and terrific" grandsons. He still skis a little, with family and friends, and plays as much tennis and paddle tennis as possible. George and Louise also own a condo in Florida - on Hutchinson Island in the Atlantic, off Stuart - where Louise especially spends a lot of time. They also travel a little, and the # 1 destination in 2002 is our 50th Reunion.
