Sadly, we learn of the passing of one our classmates. David Miller lost his long fight against cancer on Aug. 9, 1985.

While at Amherst David was a geology major and spent a semester at Bowdoin his junior year. His last Amherst function was our fifth reunion.

David’s mother wrote and asked that we be reminded of how much he loved his four years at Amherst. David requested that a scholarship fund be started in his memory, which his family has done. Memorial donations may be made to the David C. Miller Scholarship Fund at Amherst College.
