Workers have completed an interior renovation of Keefe Campus Center. Here are the major changes.

The game room moved to two separate second-floor areas previously occupied by The Amherst Student and WAMH, which are now in a consolidated space.

The Multicultural Resource Center moved from ground level to the first floor, positioning it “to embark upon a promising new chapter in its history,” says President Biddy Martin, “with increased space, visibility and potential for enhanced programming.” The space was previously occupied by the Student Activities Office, which is now on ground level.

On the first floor, the back of the former game room is now the Women’s Center, which had been in a less visible and smaller basement location. The front part is the McCaffrey Room, a lounge-like space for individuals and groups to use.

Room 208 is the new, more central-to-campus home of psychotherapy services. That office now has extended hours and two new staff members.
