I’m enormously proud to be back from the Pleistocene in a big way! Some might say it’s a hulking task to represent such a hugely prestigious College, but I can’t wait to give it my colossal best. Everyone knows that I feel immense purple pride and can’t wait to lend a huge hand (or is it foot? #StompStomp) to life at Amherst. Don’t forget to look for more of me around the vast social media channels (*ahem* Snapchat *ahem*) And, remember, Amherst: Tusks Up!

From March 20-31, 2017, all alumni, students, faculty and staff were invited to vote on the five mascot finalists. In total, 9,295 people voted and 4,356 votes were cast in favor of the Mammoths. Read a description of the voting process and outcome
