About the Book & Plow CSA

The Share

  • Fall Share - 12 weekly pickups of 8–12 pounds of produce from Sept-Nov

  • Hours - The shareroom is open Wednesdays from 3–6:30 p.m. for pick up.
  • Location -  Book & Plow greenhouse located at Tuttle Hill at 425 South East Street, Amherst MA
  • Cost - Each bag costs $250 for 12 weeks. Limited amount of Sliding Scale Shares available.
  • Choice - you pick what goes into your share from a variety of crops in our shareroom
  • Pick-Your-Own Garden - flowers, herbs, tomatoes and more
  • Newsletters - musings, pictures, announcements, recipes
  • Events - flower arranging, pumpkin carving
  • Vegetables we grow - arugula, beets, bok choi, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, chard, collards, cucumbers, eggplant, fennel, garlic, herbs, kale, lettuce, onion, peppers, potatoes, radishes, salad mix, scallions, spinach, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, winter squash, and more!

Fall CSA Signup

We are excited that you are interested in signing up for the Fall CSA Share! Please follow this link to our sign-up page. CSA sign up

There will be 12 pick-ups on Wednesdays from 3–6:30 p.m. at our greenhouse on Tuttle Hill at 425 South East St. in Amherst. The cost for the share is $250. Please follow the above link to reserve your spot and send us a check made out the the Trustees of Amherst College, mailed to Book & Plow Farm 6 East Dr. Amherst, MA 01002. Thank you for supporting the farm!

Book & Plow is pleased to announce that we are partnering with the Amherst College Food Justice Club to raise funds for a sliding scale Share-the-Share program aimed at increasing access to healthy food in our community. Please consider making a donation to our Share-the-Share program if you are so moved.
