Exploring and Understanding Leadership Styles

Do you want to enhance your leadership capabilities and build skills that will allow you to be the best version of yourself both at Amherst College and beyond?

Amherst LEADS is offering an Interterm course that will allow you to learn about leadership styles, explore how to create effective work relationships and examine the impact of leadership on team dynamics. This course will feature a variety of presentations, team activities, experiential exercises, and a keynote speaker in a dynamic group setting designed to maximize personal learning and enjoyment.

Over the course of four sessions, students will:

  • learn about flexible leadership styles
  • examine their personal behavioral style, and
  • explore the dynamics of high performing teams.

Location: All programming will be held in the Friedmann Room, located on the second floor of the Campus Center.

Schedule: January 14th-9:00am-11:30am, 1:00pm-3:30pm, and 7:00pm-9:00pm, January 15th-9:00am-11:30am
