Kevin Eastman, Boston Celtics Assistant Coach

Kevin Eastman is currently in his seventh season as an Assistant Coach for the Boston Celtics. Eastman had been coaching at the collegiate level for over 22 years previously. He serves as NIKE Basketball’s National Director of Skill Development and is a frequent speaker at coaching clinics and corporate meetings.

Collegiately, Eastman has been the men’s basketball head coach at Washington State University and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He had also served as an assistant coach at the University of Tulsa, the University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Colorado State University. 

Eastman is a 1978 graduate of the University of Richmond, where he played his collegiate basketball. Eastman also earned his Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from Richmond.

Eastman and his wife Wendy, have a son named Jake who plays basketball for Bradley University.
