Mike Longabardi is an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics. A member of the 2007-2008 NBA Championship coaching staff, Longabardi is entering his sixth season with the Boston Celtics organization. Prior to the 2011-2012 season, Longabardi was promoted to bench assistant, replacing former assistant coach Lawrence Frank as the coordinator of the Celtics defense. Before joining the Celtics organization, Longabardi spent four years as an assistant coach and video coordinator with the Houston Rockets. Additionally, Longabardi also spent 7 years as an assistant at the collegiate level, coaching at Pfeiffer University, Adelphi University, Lafayette College, and Towson University.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Longabardi was a NCAA Division III student-athlete at Frostburg State University, where he was named the ECAC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
