November 17 - At the close of the 2007 NCAA Cross Country National Championship complete, the Lord Jeffs have a title in hand as the women's team avenged last season's one point loss with the program's first crown, while the men placed 12th. Full Story

Wilson Earns Third NESCAC Performer of the Week Honor of Season; Amherst Teams in Prime Position for National Championship Run
November 12 - Amherst College senior co-captain Heather Wilson paced the Lord Jeffs at the NCAA Cross Country Atlantic Regional Championship by finishing the six-kilometer race with a time of 21 minutes and 31 seconds to lead her team to a first-place finish. The Jeffs conclude their season Saturday, Nov. 17 at St. Olaf College, where they are among the favorites to take home a national championship. Full Story


Amherst Cross Country Teams Clean House at NCAA Regionals
November 10 - The Amherst College men's and women's cross country teams each took home first place finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships held at Conn. College. The pair of wins is the first time either squad has won the district meet, and qualifies the teams for nationals. November 5 - Amherst College senior Katie Moravec was named the NESCAC Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week for taking home the individual title at the ECAC Championships held at Williams College this past weekend. Full Story


Women Place Second at ECAC Championships; Men Place Sixth

November 3 - The Amherst College women's cross country team earned a runner-up finish at the ECAC Championships, while the Amherst men placed sixth. Leading the Lord Jeffs were senior Katie Moravec and first-year Kristen Ballinger, who finished first and second, respectively. Full Results
