Amherst Places Second Behind Williams at Little Three Championships
April 23 - The Amherst College men's golf team headed to Williams College for the annual Little Three Championships, with the host Ephs taking home their 11th straight title. April 14 - The Amherst College men's golf team returned to action for its second tournament of the spring season, as the Lord Jeffs competed against stiff competition at the Skidmore College Palamountain Invitational. Amherst Kicks Off Spring Season at Bentley's Lou Flumere Invitational
April 2 - The Amherst College men's golf team opened its spring season at the 35th annual Lou Flumere Invitational hosted by Bentley College and placed 20th in a field of 23 teams. Amherst Wraps up Fall Season at NEIGA Championships
October 24 - The Amherst College men's golf team wrapped up its fall slate by competing at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship. Play began Monday and concluded Tuesday, with the Jeffs finishing in a tie for 27th place in the 43-team field. Full Story

First-Year Trip Wray Named to 2007 Men's Golf All-NESCAC Second Team
October 2 - This afternoon the NESCAC front office named the members of the 2007 All-Conference Teams, with Amherst first-year Trip Wray grabbing second team honors. Wray has led Amherst all fall, and finished tied for ninth individually in the NESCAC Qualifier last weekend. Full Story

Amherst Places Seventh at NESCAC Championship Qualifier
September 30 - The Amherst College men’s golf team traveled to Hamilton College for the 2007 NESCAC Championship Qualifier at the Skenandoa Club. The Lord Jeffs needed to place fourth or better to advance to the first-ever conference championship round in April, but finished the two-day event in seventh place. Trinity College finished in first place, earning the right to host the championship round this spring. Full Story

Amherst Finishes Tied for 13th Place at Williams Invite
September 23 - The Amherst College men's golf team finished tied for 13th place at the Williams College Invite. First-year Trip Wray led the Jeffs with a 156, leaving him tied for 34th place overall. Full Results

Jeffs Place 23rd at 2007 Duke Nelson to Open Fall
September 17 - The Amherst College men's golf team placed 23rd at the 2007 Duke Nelson Invitationa, hosted by Middlebury College. The Jeffs were led by first-year Trip Wray's 18-over par 160. Full Results

Lord Jeffs Look to Return to Contender-Status in the NESCAC
August 28 - Amherst
’s strong core of younger players, which got plenty of experience last year, should allow the Jeffs to improve on their 2006-07 results. With the addition of a talented first-year, look for Amherst to have a solid showing at the NESCAC Championship Qualifier in late September. Full Story
