Five Amherst Student-Athletes Grab ECAC New England All-Star Honors
June 18 - Five Amherst College student-athletes were named to various ECAC Division III New England All-Star teams this morning for their play in spring sports. A trio of women's lacrosse players were joined by a single member from each the men's lacrosse and softball teams. Full Story

Amherst Women's Lacrosse Lands Four on IWLCA All-American Teams
May 28 - The IWLCA and US Lacrosse have honored 48 student-athletes in Division III with a selection on one of the All-American teams. Three Lord Jeff women’s lacrosse players earned spots on the Second Team, while a fourth teammate landed on the Third Team. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at an awards banquet on June 14, 2008 in King of Prussia, PA. Full Story

Amherst Places Seven on IWLCA All-Region Team; Hoeg, McEvoy Selected to Play in North-South Senior All-Star Game
May 22 - The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced today the 224 Division III student-athletes honored with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2008, with Amherst College earning seven honors for the Berkshire Region. In addition, two members of the Lord Jeff squad have been selected to play in the 2008 IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game in June. Full Story

May 10 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team upset Washington & Lee this afternoon 10-8 in the NCAA Round of 16 at Franklin & Marshall. The Lord Jeffs will face the host and defending champions tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. for a shot at the 2008 Final Four. Full Story

Amherst Advances with 16-7 Win Over Endicott in NCAA First Round
May 7 - The Amherst College women's lacrosse team used a 9-1 run to earn a 16-7 win over visiting Endicott College in the first round of the NCAA Championship. Endicott ends its season at 15-6, while Amherst improves to 14-3 and will travel to Franklin & Marshall to take on Washington & Lee in the round of 16 on Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. Full Story

May 7 - The NESCAC announced today the members of the 2008 Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team, with four Lord Jeffs earning the honor. While Amy Craig, Catherine Calvert and Linda McEvoy grabbed First Team honors, senior tri-captain Maddie Hoeg was named to the Second Team. March 31 - Amherst College junior Amy Craig was named the NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week for tallying 11 goals and adding an assist during an impressive 2-0 week for the Lord Jeffs.
