Lerner Falls in Round One of NCAA Singles Championship
May 16 - The Division III NCAA Individuals Tennis Tournament got underway today, with a trio of Amherst College Lord Jeffs participating in two different locations. Senior Alicia Menezes and sophomore Brittany Berckes started play on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus, while junior Zack Lerner was competing at Bates College. Full Story 

NCAA Individual Tennis Championships Set to Kick Off Friday
May 15 - The NCAA Individual Tennis Championships begin Friday, May 16 and conclude Sunday, May 18, with three members of the Amherst College tennis programs taking part in the weekend’s national tournaments. Lerner, Mintz Earn NESCAC All-Conference Honors
April 30 - Amherst College sophomore Brittany Berckes has been selected by the conference coaches as the 2008 NESCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year, and is one of four Lord Jeff men’s and women’s tennis players to receive All-Conference recognition this year. October 14 - The Amherst College men’s tennis team traveled to Bates College for the Wallach Invitational over the weekend. Eight Lord Jeffs were represented in the tournament, with senior Mike Mintz and first-year Sean Doerfler leading the way by advancing to at least the finals of their respective singles brackets. September 30 – The Amherst College men’s tennis team traveled to Williams College to take part in the ITA New England Championships. The Lord Jeffs were represented by six players in the singles and doubles tournaments, with junior Zack Lerner leading the way by advancing to the semifinals in the singles bracket.

September 23 - Amherst College swept the doubles matches and took four of the singles matches en route to a 7-2 victory over Salve Regina University in a non-conference men’s tennis match Friday.
