Daigneault Named to D3Hoops All-America Second Team; First All-American in Program History
Mar. 23 - Amherst College sophomore Jaci Daigneault and senior Brian Baskauskas were each named to the D3Hoops.com All-American teams this weekend as part of Final Four weekend announcements. Baskauskas landed on the Fourth Team, while Daigneault earns a spot on the Second Team. Full Story

Mar. 20 - The Amherst College women's basketball team ended its amazing season with an 82-74 loss to TCNJ in the National Consolation game. The Lord Jeffs finish the best season in program history with a 29-4 record. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Fall Short in National Semifinals to Wash-U, 65-49
Mar. 20 - The Amherst College women's basketball team's bid for a national championship came to a close this evening, as the Jeffs fell short to Wash-U 65-49 in the National Semifinals. Amherst will face TCNJ in tomorrow's Consolation Game at 10 a.m. Full Story

Jaci Daigneault Named to State Farm Coaches' All-America Team
Mar. 20 - A pair of Amherst College student-athletes earned All-America honors yesterday and will compete in national semifinal games Friday evening. While sophomore Jaci Daigneault was named to the State Farm Coaches’ All-America Team, junior Krystyn Elek earned a spot on the RBK Hockey All-America Second Team. Full Story

Brian Baskauskas, Jaci Daigneault Named to D3hoops All-Region First Team; G.P. Gromacki Named Northeast Coach of the Year
Mar. 18 - D3hoops.com announced yesterday its 2009 Men’s and Women’s Basketball All-Region Teams. While Amherst College sophomore Jaci Daigneault and senior Brian Baskauskas each earned All-Northeast Region First Team honors, G.P. Gromacki was named the Women’s Northeast Coach of the Year. Amherst to Take on Washington-Saint Louis in National Semifinals
Mar. 16 - The Amherst College women’s basketball team will continue its quest for the program’s first national title when the Lord Jeffs take on Washington-Saint Louis in the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship Semifinals on Friday, Mar. 20 at 4 p.m. In Friday’s second semifinal matchup, George Fox (30-0) will take on The College of New Jersey (27-4) at 6 p.m. Full Story

Amherst Defeats Brandeis in National Quarterfinals, 68-54; Lord Jeffs Headed to Final Four
Mar. 14 - The Amherst College women's basketball team improved to 29-2 on the season with a 68-54 win over Brandeis University in the national quarterfinal round. The Lord Jeffs will travel to Michigan for next weekend's Final Four against Washington-Saint Louis. Full Story

Amherst Advances to National Quarterfinals with 74-51 Win Over NYU; Jeffs Set Program Record for Wins in a Season
Mar. 13 - The Amherst College women's basketball team pulled away in the second half for an impressive 74-51 win over NYU in the NCAA Round of 16. The Lord Jeffs improve to 28-2 to set a new program record for wins in a season, and will host Brandeis University Saturday at 6 p.m. with a trip to the Final Four on the line. Full Story

Jaci Daigneault Named Finalist for State Farm Coaches' All-America Team
Mar. 11 - The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), in cooperation with State Farm, announced the finalists for the 2009 State Farm Coaches’ All-America Basketball Team for the NCAA Division III. Amherst College sophomore Jaci Daigneault is among the 42 finalists, who are voted upon by WBCA member coaches in each of the eight WBCA geographical regions. Full Story

Amherst to Host NYU in NCAA Round of 16
Mar. 9 - Amherst will serve as one of four hosts for this weekend’s NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Sectional Round. The Lord Jeffs will take on New York University Friday, Mar. 13 at 7 p.m., with Muhlenberg College taking on Brandeis University at 5 p.m. Full Story

Nov. 11 - Last season was the most successful in program history for the Amherst College women's basketball team, as the team finished the season 27-3 and won the program's first NESCAC Championship. The Lord Jeffs went to the NCAA Tournament for the first time last year and won a pair of games before falling in the Round of 16.
