Apr. 29 - The Amherst College men's golf team placed second at the 2009 Little Three Championships this afternoon hosted by Wesleyan University. Williams took first by beating Wesleyan 12-0 and Amherst 8-4, while the Lord Jeffs topped Wesleyan 8-4. Full Story

Apr. 13 - The Amherst College men's golf team shaved 35 strokes off their day one score to rally to 13th place at the 2009 Palamountain Invitational Tournament this afternoon. Sept. 28 - The Amherst College men's golf team placed 6th this weekend at the two-day NESCAC Qualifier. The top four teams earned spots in this spring's Championship Tournament, with the Lord Jeffs on the outside looking in. Full Story

Sept. 21 - The Amherst College men's golf team placed 13th in a field of 20 teams at the Williams College Invitational, with sophomore Trip Wray leading the way by finishing in a tie for fourth place. Sept. 14 - The Amherst College men's golf team played exceptionally at Middlebury College's Duke Nelson Invitational to place sixth in a field of 22 teams. First-year Nate Belkin's two-round total of 147 left him in a tie for second place among the field of 116 golfers. Full Story

Lord Jeffs Place Sixth at Trinity Invitational
Sept. 7 - The Amherst College men's golf team placed sixth in a field of seven teams at the Trinity College Invitational. Senior tri-captain Chris Valentine led the Lord Jeffs by finishing in a tie for 10th place, as his two-day score of 154 left him only five strokes behind the runner-up and nine strokes behind the leader. Amherst Looks to Snap 10-Year Title-Less Drought
August 29 - With virtually the same schedule as last year, Amherst’s calendar will once again be marked for the NESCAC Championship Qualifier, which is set to begin Saturday, Sept. 27 at Middlebury College. The Lord Jeffs won eight conference titles between 1988 and 1997 but have not been crowned since. Despite missing the cut at last year’s qualifier by 24 strokes, Amherst returns its top players, which should inch the team closer to the front of the pack. Extended Season Preview
