TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Finished at 6-8 overall and 3-6 in the conference to earn the No. 8 seed in the NESCAC Championship
  • Lost three games by only one goal
  • Went 3-0 in a span of seven days, defeating Hartwick, Mount Ida and Connecticut College to improve to 3-1
  • Committed fewest penalties per game (3.14) and served fewest penalty minutes per game (2.82) in the NESCAC

Senior GK Matt Pietroforte

  • Named to NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team
  • Led the NESCAC in saves per game (12.14)
  • Finished with 36 ground balls, a 9.59 goals-against average and .570 save percentage in 800 minutes played
  • Finished career with 9.34 GAA, 699 saves, .598 save percentage and 24 wins in 3,019 minutes played

Senior A Brett Miller

  • Named to NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team
  • Finished third in the NESCAC in assists per game (2.07) and 13th in points per game (2.79)
  • Recorded a team-high 29 assists with 10 goals to lead Amherst with 39 points
  • Finished career with 39 goals, 78 assists, 117 points and 81 ground balls
