Amherst Ends Season with 67-49 Loss at Colby
Feb. 20 - The sixth-seeded Amherst College men's basketball team had its season come to a close with a 67-49 loss at third-seeded Colby College in the opening round of the NESCAC Championship. NESCAC Basketball Championships to Begin Saturday
Feb. 16 - The 2010 NESCAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are set to begin Saturday, Feb. 20, with the top-seeded Amherst College women hosting eighth-seeded Wesleyan University at 3 p.m., and the sixth-seeded Lord Jeff men traveling to take on third-seeded Colby College at 4 p.m. Full Story

Feb. 13 - The Amherst College men's basketball team wrapped up its regular season with an 85-72 loss to Middlebury College. Feb. 12 - The Amherst College men's basketball team trailed archrival Williams College by only two points at halftime, but the second-ranked Ephs dominated the final 20 minutes of play for an 81-60 win. Feb. 4 - Amherst College juniors Conor Meehan and Jaci Daigneault have been named to the 2010 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Teams for men's and women's basketball, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Full Story

Jan. 30 - In a thrilling men's basketball game that saw neither team lead by more than five points in the second half, Amherst College came out on the wrong end of a 72-68 result to mark the Lord Jeffs' second consecutive conference loss. Nov. 21 - The Amherst College men's basketball team won the Ken Wright '52 Memorial Tournament this afternoon with a 92-67 result against Ithaca College. With the victory, coach David Hixon '75 won the 600th career victory in his 33 years at Amherst. Full Story
