May 13 - The National Golf Coaches Association named Amherst College head coach Michelle Morgan the East Region Coach of the Year for Division III this afternoon, while also awarding junior standout Hayley Milbourn her third straight All-American honor. Full Story

Amherst Earns Sixth Win of Season at Williams Invite; Milbourn Takes Individual Title
Apr. 25 - The Amherst women's golf team wrapped up a dominant regular season by winning its program-record sixth title of the year, edging the host Ephs by two strokes at the Williams Invitational. Hayley Milbourn '11 won the individual crown by defeating Wellesley's Kim Eaton in a one-hole playoff. Full Story

Apr. 24 - The 2nd-ranked Amherst College women's golf team shot a season-low 308 this afternoon at day one of a two-day tournament at Williams College's Taconic Golf Club. Amherst was led by a 74 from Kinne Schwartz, and 78s from Hayley Milbourn, Nina Yoo and Elain Lin. Play conlcudes tomorrow.

Apr. 17 - Led by a first place finish from junior Hayley Milbourn, the 2nd-ranked Amherst College women's golf team pulled away from the field to win the 2010 Jack Leaman Invitational Championship by ten strokes at The Orchards this afternoon. Full Story

Apr. 17 - The 2nd-ranked Amherst College women's golf team sits tied for first place with Wellesley College after day one of the 2010 Jack Leaman Invitational. Amherst shot a 336, led by first-year Liz Monty's six-over par 80. Final round play will resume tomorrow at The Orchards in South Hadley.

Apr. 11 - The Amherst College women's golf team successfully defended its title at the Vassar Invitational by storming from behind to finish six strokes ahead of runner-up Williams. The Jeffs entered Sunday in fourth place but shaved 20 strokes off of their day-one total to earn the comeback win. Full Story

Mar. 20 - The 7th-ranked Amherst College women's golf team placed second at the 2010 George Fox Invitational Tournament in Peoria, Arizona to open the spring season. Full Story

NESCAC All-Academic, All-Sportsmanship Teams Announced
Nov. 20 - The NESCAC announced the members of its Fall All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship Teams, with 42 Amherst student-athletes earning All-Academic honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.35. Full Story

Jeffs Place Second At Rain-Shortened Wellesley Tournament
Oct. 17 - The Amherst College women's golf team finished in second place after the only round of a rain-shortened Ann S. Batchelder Golf  Invitational. A second round was scheduled for tomorrow but was called off with a poor weather forecast. Full Story

Oct. 12 - The Amherst women's golf team took home the team title at the Williams Fall Classic, finishing ahead of the host Ephs. The Jeffs also won the NESCAC Tournament, which was held in conjunction with the Williams Classic. Full Story

Oct. 4 - The Amherst College women's golf team extended its five-shot lead after day one to win the 2009 Middlebury Invitational by nine strokes this afternoon. Sept. 20 - The Amherst College women's golf team sat in 13th place after day one of the Dartmouth Invitational, but the Lord Jeffs finished the two-day tournament in a tie with Williams for ninth place after an impressive Sunday. Full Story

Sept. 19 - The Amherst College women's golf team opened up the 2009 season today competing at the 2009 Dartmouth Invitational. The Lord Jeffs shot a 335 on day one of the two-day tournament, and sit in 13th place in the 20 team field heading into tomorrow's final round.

Sept. 10 - The Amherst College women's golf team returns a talented group of players this year, while adding a solid pair of first-years after one of the best seasons in program history.
