2009 Men's Soccer Milestones

TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Finished the season with a 12-4-1 overall record
  • Recognized by the NSCAA as having the highest team GPA in Division I, II, or III
  • Finished 6-2-1 in NESCAC play to earn 3rd seed in conference tournament
  • Earned at-large bid to NCAA tournament
  • Defeated Salem State 4-0 in first round of NCAA tournament
  • Reached 2nd round of NCAA tournament for fourth consecutive year
  • Posted 11 shutouts during the season, and seven consecutive shutouts at from Oct. 7-25
  • Finished 3rd in the NESCAC in goals-against average (0.70)
  • Finished 2nd in the NESCAC in goals per game (2.71)
  • Finished 1st in the NESCAC in assists per game (2.5)
  • Class of 2010 posted a record of 54-12-8 making them the winningest class in the history of the program
