The Women’s Swimming and Diving Team enters the 2008-2009 season with high hopes following what was arguably the best season in the team’s history. On their way to a second place finish at NCAAs, the women earned five individual and three relay championships amidst thirty All-American performances. In turn, Nick received the NCAA Coach of the Year Award for the third year running, and graduating senior Brittany Sasser was named Swimmer of the Meet after completing one of the most decorated swimming careers ever in Division III history.
Senior Captains Sabrina Dorman, Kara MacLaverty and Erin Morrison lead an extremely deep and versatile senior class with the potential to carry on this strong tradition of excellence despite the loss of their extremely successful graduating seniors. With depth and talent permeating every returning class including the well-rounded class of incoming first-years, the women look forward to another successful season.
