2010 Field Hockey Milestones

TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Finished 13th in the final National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coaches Poll
  • Posted a 12-4 record with a 6-4 record in NESCAC play
  • Became 6th team in program history to win at least 12 games
  • Earned No. 4 seed in NESCAC tournament and the right to host a NESCAC tournament quarterfinal game
  • Defeated Wesleyan 3-0 in NESCAC Quarterfinals
  • Fell to Bowdoin 3-2 in overtime in NESCAC Semifinals¬†
  • Posted two winning streaks of five games or more during the season
  • Finished the season ranked 3rd in the conference in goals (60), 3rd in goals allowed (23), 2nd in assists (46), 3rd in shutouts (7), 3rd in penalty corners (192), and 1st in defensive saves (11).

Senior Forward Liz Schink

  • Finished tied for 8th in the NESCAC in Assists (6)
  • Member of Class of 2011 that finishes with a career record of 42-21 for the Lord Jeffs

Senior Midfielder Carly Leahy

  • Member of Class of 2011 that finishes with a career record of 42-21 for the Lord Jeffs

Senior Defender Rachel Egan

  • Member of Class of 2011 that finishes with a career record of 42-21 for the Lord Jeffs

Junior Midfielder Carly Dudzik

  • Named to NFHCA All-America First Team
  • Named to NFHCA All-Region First Team for second straight season
  • Named to All-NESCAC First Team for the second straight season
  • Notched 23 points with eight goals and seven assists
  • Scored the game-winner in the NESCAC Quarterfinals against Wesleyan
  • Finished 11th in the NESCAC in points per game (1.44)
  • Finished 4th in the NESCAC in assists (7)

Junior Defender Stephanie Clegg

  • Named to NFHCA All-Region Second Team
  • Led the NESCAC in Defensive Saves (5)

Junior Defender Sarah McCarrick

  • Finished 7th in the NESCAC in defensive saves a game (0.19)

Sophomore Forward Katie McMahon

  • Named to NFHCA All-America Third Team
  • Named to NFHCA All-Region First Team
  • Named to NESCAC All-Conference Second Team
  • Named NESCAC Player of the Week (Oct. 12)
  • Scored 15 points in one week during a pair of wins over Wesleyan University and Smith College
  • Scored four goals and had three assists for a career high 11 points against Smith College
  • Finished the season ranked 1st in the NESCAC in points per game (3.25) and assist (16), 3rd in goals per game (1.12) and 6th in game-winning goals (4).
