Dec. 20 - Amherst College’s Kevin Ferber ’12 was named to the All-America Second Team this past weekend for helping the Lord Jeffs post a 6-2 record as a standout defensive tackle. Full Story

Ferber, Rawson Earn All-Region Honors
Dec. 10 - Amherst College juniors Matt Rawson and Kevin Ferber have been named to the All-East Region Team, the website announced yesterday. Ferber earned a First Team selection as a defensive tackle, while Rawson landed on the Second Team as a punter. Full Story

NESCAC Announces All-Academic, All-Sportsmanship Teams
Nov. 23 - The NESCAC has announced its 2010 Fall All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship teams, with 70 Lord Jeffs qualifying for the All-Academic ranks to mark the third highest total in the conference. Full Story

Matt Rawson '11 Named All-New England by Football Writers
Nov. 23 - Amherst College junior placekicker Matt Rawson was named a Division II/III All-New England Selection by the Football Writers Association this afternoon. Rawson finished 2010 as Amherst's leading scorer. Full Story

Nov. 18 - The New England Small College Athletic Conference announced today the members of the 2010 All-Conference Teams, tabbing six Amherst College football standouts for the squads. Full Story

Amherst Ends Season with 31-16 Loss to Williams in 125th Meeting

Amherst and Williams Set to Meet for 125th Time in Rivalry's History
Nov. 8 - Amherst will be looking to deny Williams a perfect season when the Ephs come to town this Saturday for the 125th installment of the "Biggest Little Game in America." Each of the past two meetings has come down to the final drive, with Williams squeaking out a 24-23 win in 2008 and Amherst achieving perfection with last year's 26-21 result. Game Preview

Amherst's Winning Streak Snapped by Trinity, 28-13

College Football Hall of Fame to Enshrine Former Amherst Player
June 22 - Former Amherst College football standout William Henry Lewis will be honored in the College Football Hall of Fame’s 2010 Enshrinement Festival this July. Lewis was a member of the Class of 1892 and became the first African-American to earn All-America First Team honors in football. Full Story
