AMHERST, Mass. – As this year’s Amherst-Williams rivalry game approaches, New England Sports Network (NESN) will feature a pair of programs highlighting the two college’s long and intertwined history on the gridiron and in the classroom. NESN will once again televise the Nov. 10 matchup between the two teams as well.

“Williams-Amherst: The Biggest Little Rivalry” is an hour-long documentary devoted to the football rivalry of the Ephs and Lord Jeffs. Filmed this fall and featuring interviews with players, coaches, alumni and more, the program is set to premiere on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The program will also be rebroadcast on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m., one hour before kickoff from Pratt Field and again later in the month.

Meanwhile, Amherst and Williams will also clash in an episode of “Schooled: NESN’s College Face-Off.” A unique competitive trivia/reality series that represents eight different New England colleges. Each episode of the show features three students from two schools as they go head-to-head in a single-elimination tournament. The Amherst-Williams battle is set to air for the first time on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. before seven other showings throughout the month.
