Matt Eberhart Named Special Teams Player of the Week

AMHERST, MA – Amherst College junior Matt Eberhart (Plano, TX) was named the NESCAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance during a 17-10 victory at Wesleyan University. The win improved the Lord Jeffs to 4-1 on the season and landed them in sole possession of second place in the conference standings.

Eberhart punted eight times against the Cardinals for an average of 41.5 yards with a long of 53 yards. He also hit a 22-yard field goal, his lone attempt of the game, with nine seconds remaining in the first half to tie Saturday’s game at 10-10.
