Sill Leads Jeffs to Sixth Place Finish at Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Jarvis Sill ’15 led the Amherst men’s golf team to a sixth place finish at the Williams Invitational Sunday with a two-day score of 627 (314-313).
Sill finished in a tie for seventh with a consistent round that featured a day one score of 76 followed by a 75 on Sunday for a two-day 151. Harrison Marick’ 17 and Nicholas Koh ’14 took second and third for the Jeffs respectively. Marick placed 22nd with a two-day 155 (76-79) while Koh dropped three scores off his day one scorecard to finish with a 157 (80-77).
Brandon Brown ’15 posted a 167 for Amherst while Liam Fine ’17 finished with a 171 after taking seven points off his day one performance.
Williams won the 24-team event with a 607 scorecard followed by RPI (611) and Trinity (612).
The Jeffs are back in action September 28 and 29 for the NESCAC Qualifier at Bowdoin.
