Jeffs Place Second at Ann S. Batchelder Invitational

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The Amherst women’s golf team finished second overall at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational on Sunday at the Nehoiden Golf Course hosted by Wellesley College. The Jeffs posted a two-day score of 649 (325-324).
Williams won the event with a two-day 619 (305-314) followed by Amherst and Mount Holyoke (660-327-333).
Sooji Choi ’14 led the Jeffs as she finished in a tie for fourth with a 158 (81-77). Jamie Gracie ’17 scored just two strokes higher than Choi to claim a tie for sixth overall with a 160 (81-79).
Kristen Lee ’14 took third for Amherst and 12th in the field with a consistent effort to finish at 165 (82-83) and Devyn Gardner ’16 posted a two-day 166 (81-85) for 14th overall. Sarah Ressler ’16 rounded out the top performances for the Jeffs with a 176 to finish 20th.
The Ann S. Batchelder Invitational was the final fall tournament for the Jeffs as they await the spring season.
