Mollie Domian, Assistant Coach
Mollie Domian enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Amherst women's tennis program. A former standout at Division I Cornell University, Domian played first singles and first doubles for the Big Red, while serving as a team captain during her senior season. Named to the All-Ivy doubles second-team in 2005, she also excelled in the classroom, garnering ITA All-Academic praise, while graduating cum laude in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science degree in communication.
Currently working as an area tennis professional, Domian is a USPTA certified instructor and a USTA certified tournament director. Having coached in USTA New England High Performance clinics, she has worked with many of the top junior players in the region.
A native of Western Mass, Domian became the first, first-year to win the MIAA State Singles Championship in 1999, while also earning a USTA New England No. 1 doubles ranking from 1998-2001.
Domian currently resides in Amherst with her husband Smokey, son Jack, and their dog Otis.
