Danner Named NESCAC Player of the Week

AMHERST, Mass. – Maggie Danner ’17 of the Amherst women’s volleyball team was named NESCAC Volleyball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office.
Danner averaged 4.22 kills per set during the Jeffs' 3-0 week in which they swept all three opponents. The first-year tallied double-digit kills in all three matches for a total of 38 while hitting .407. In the sweep against Middlebury, she posted a double-double with 14 kills and 14 digs.
Danner has been a key component during Amherst’s five-game winning streak and ranks seventh in the conference with 3.12 kills per set.
The Jeffs return to the court Friday, Oct. 18 for their final home match of the regular season and will host Colby at 8 p.m.
