Robertson Tabbed NESCAC Player of the Week

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Megan Robertson ’15 picked up her third NESCAC women’s basketball Player of the Week honor of the season after helping Amherst to a pair of wins over rivals Middlebury and Trinity.
Powering the Jeffs to a 65-45 victory over Panthers on the final day of the regular season, Robertson connected on eight of her 16 shot attempts, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Helping to spark Amherst’s dominating 80-34 victory over Trinity in the league quarterfinals this past Saturday, Robertson hit 7-of-11 field-goals, while going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Netting a game-high 22 points, the sophomore also pulled down eight boards, while tallying three blocks and three steals.
Shooting 55.6 percent from the floor, Robertson finished the week averaging 20 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Enjoying a stellar season, she currently leads the conference in field-goal percentage (52.3), rebounds (9.2) and blocks per game (2.8).
