Gallinaro enters her fourth season as a member of the Amherst women's ice hockey coaching staff.

A former standout at NCAA Division I University of Connecticut, Gallinaro works with the team's defense, while assisting head coach Jeff Matthews with recruiting. Under the direction of Matthews, Gallinaro has helped Amherst post a 26-18-6 overall record, and a 19-8-5 mark in NESCAC action resulting in back-to-back conference tournament appearances and a semifinal berth in 2012-13.  

A four-year letterwinner with the Huskies, Gallinaro appeared in 140 games as a forward and defenseman, logging 33 points on 11 goals and 22 assists. Helping UConn achieve its first-ever national ranking and Hockey East finals berth, the Amherst, Mass. native was twice named to the conference's All-Academic team, earning a degree in Kinesiology in 2008.
