BOSTON, MA – Competing against some of New England’s best athletes, the Amherst College women’s indoor track and field team excelled in the Valentine Invitational’s distance events Friday afternoon at Boston University’s Track and Tennis Center.

Five Lord Jeffs took part in the mile run, but it was Amherst's Melissa Sullivan ’12 (Dallas, TX) who stood out by placing 16th in a field of 147.
