Doug Tribou—producer of “Only A Game”—attended Amherst’s dual meet against MIT on Jan. 29, when Stern swam a 4:51.66 in the 500-yard freestyle to best her own Pratt Pool record by more than three seconds. Stern would also anchor both relay teams that day and get an “A” cut in the 200-yard freestyle, which she won by nearly 10 seconds with a time of 1:48.98.
