Please be advised of the following information about the end of the semester:

  • Thursday, December 1, 5pm - If you already have a club budget and would like one for next semester, please be sure to meet with your BC rep before December 1st at 5pm to discuss your proposed club budget and plans for next semester.
  • Friday, December 2nd - Saturday, December 3rd - BC will deliberate about these club budgets. Your BC rep will contact you on December 3rd with our finalized club budget allocations.
  • Sunday, December 4th, Chapin 119 @ 2pm - Club Budget Appeals meeting. If you wish to contest a decision by BC regarding your club budget, come by and we will discuss.
  • Monday, December 5th  - The last BC meeting of the semester at 8pm in the Red Room, right before the AAS meeting.
  • Wednesday, December 14th, 3pm - All final check request forms are due to the box outside of Morrow 020. Late check request forms will not be processed.
  • Wednesday, December 14th  - Last day of AAS-funded programming. The AAS will not pay for any events happening after May 6th.

When formulating your club budget for next semester, please keep in mind:

  • You can only have a club budget if you've been active for three continuous semesters, as per the Bylaws of the AAS (see "Recognized Club Budget Allocation," no. 3)
  • In your club budget, you can only request funds that will be spent in that semester, i.e. you cannot get fees for Fall 2017 allocated in your Spring 2017 budget, again, as per the Bylaws of the AAS (see "Recognized Club Budget Allocation", no. 2)
  • All funding in club budgets must adhere to the BC funding policies.
  • In the event that the BC needs to pare down club budgets so that next semester's budget will be aligned with the Budget Percentages in the AAS Bylaws, you will still be able to come to Discretionary Fund meetings next semester to request the remainder of your budget.
