Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholarships
Offers twelve $2,000 scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students for a winning essay on an area of the world or an international issue that is in keeping with the applicant's interest. Application consists of a resume, cover letter and essay of 500 words.

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program (U.S. Department of State)
Provides full college costs for junior and senior year of college and during first year of graduate study for talented students in international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Must commit to pursuing a graduate degree in international studies at specified graduate schools. Participating graduate schools provide financial support in the second year of graduate study based on need. Other conditions apply. Applications accepted only from juniors.

Preparing Minority Students for Global Leadership
The United Negro College Fund Special Programs Institute for International Public Policy (IIPP) is the nation's premiere college and training program focused on increasing diversity and minority recruitment in global affairs and foreign policy. Now entering its fourteenth year, the IIPP has prepared nearly 300 fellows for international service careers, including in the United States Foreign Service.
