Sexual Respect Education is housed within the Department of Health Education and provides a comprehensive approach to sexual violence prevention using evidence-based public healthy theory and rooting our work in a social justice framework. Sexual Respect Education topics bystander intervention, healthy relationships and healthy sexuality, culture change, and survivor support.  The work of Sexual Respect Education ranges from skill-building trainings and workshops; campus-wide initiatives and events; policy review and campus-wide initiatives; resource and information sharing, and oversight of the Peer Advocates For Sexual Respect. Sexual Respect Education is committed to preventing sexual violence; promoting healthy, safe, and consensual interactions; and supporting and advocating for survivors.
