Spring Break News

 

 

The Keefe Health Center is closed during Spring break from 3/14/15 to 3/22/15.

The office will re-open on Monday, 3/23/15.

Amherst College students can go to UMASS Health Services during spring break when they are open. Those with medical emergencies should proceed directly to Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Appointments  8:45am to 4:15pm

Appointments visits are available with all of our providers, usually within 24 hours of request. Appointments are most appropriate for anticipated health needs, either of a routine nature (gynecologic care, routine medical exams, completion of forms, immunization shots, allergy shots, etc.) or episodic needs (headache, infections, injuries, consultations, etc.).

Students needing emergency care are seen at Keefe Health Center during regular hours. If possible call ahead to x2267 to expedite your care.

For urgent care After Hours:

UMass University Health Services is open to serve Amherst College  students during the academic year. Please visit UMass University Health Services' web site at http://www.umass.edu/uhs/ for hours of operation.

When UMass University Health Services is closed,  medical advice may be obtained from a nurse or physician by calling the main University Health Services number (413) 577-5000. 

If you need transportation, call Campus Police (x2291) for a ride.

For evaluation by the Amherst College Emergency Medical Service (ACEMS) with or without transportation, call x2291. There is no charge for these services. For all other health needs, we look forward to seeing you at Keefe Health Center.
